Private client project in the Tarn region of France. Works included repair and alteration of a stone barn and construction of new stonework and timberwork elements.
Scope of Works
- Repair and alter crumbling gable end of stone barn for change of use
- Build stone retaining wall with a reinforced block backing, using stone reclaimed from site
- Install new timberwork including 'in house' crafted green oak frames, and replacement oak for the 'cropped hip'
- Tile 'cropped hip' in natural stone
- Create opening in 'pise de terre', and fit a green oak window frame
